Great photograph of the Middle Teton. Thanks for that.

I wonder if you could tell me what bodies of water we are looking at through that saddle at the lower right of the photo?

  28. GoldenEagles says:

Or, is that the Grand Teton we are looking at from your perspective from the top of Middle Teton?

Still, the same question, regarding the identity of the bodies of water we see through that saddle in the peaks at the lower right.

Hey Crystal! So awesome to hear that you are skiing without pain. Thanks to your support and workouts, as well as hard work I suppose, I am also skiing without pain! Glad to hear you are feeling like yourself again. The mountains are our home and damn isn’t it good to be home!

  51. david saputo says:

Hey Crystal, glad to hear you are pain free! I broke my tib and fib a few years ago and it does take time. I am now dealing with a cartilage tear in the same ankle and am trying to get a scope but my insurance is just lagging and the season is coming up. I am 49 and still compete on the SFS series. It happened about 3 months ago and got better but I really fu*** it up about 3 weeks ago. It’s doing better now and I want to start training again for the winter and I know you run a crossfit type gym and was wondering if you think it’s a good idea to sign back up for the cross fit gym out my way? Do you think they would be able to modify the workouts to take some of the stress of the ankle? Its a problem when I get off camber side to side that makes it hurt and I am sure that when Im in my boots its not a huge issue. I am asking you because you would understand better than the coaches at the gym Im wanting to use.

  52. Crystal Wright says:

did you ever get my response to this? I wrote a long response but not seeing it here!

  54. Barbara Jack says:

    Crystal,
From the time Jimmy was born, I was known around town as “Jimmy Jack’s mom”. From a very young age, he knew everyone! My folks would take the kids camping and my mom said while she and daddy unloaded and she got dinner on all three kids would be busy. But Jim was busy making friends with everyone. After dinner they all took a walk and at almost every camp site, people would call out…Hi Jimmy! When she asked who they were, he’d simply say, “they are my new friends!
I’m glad you were friends. I thought I had seen all the things written but I had not seen yours. I love the picture of Jim and his camper. The best $300 he ever spent.
I send you much love and wonderful snow!!
